So here we are. This is the baby's room pre paint. I will have more pictures for you during the week so stay tuned. We will be picking up the furniture this weekend. I'm not sure when it will be put together and in the room but at least it will be here, I can't wait. Check back this week, as the paint hits the walls the pictures will hit the site.
By the way for those of you who don't know that would be Daddy. This also counts for a 26 week picture. Is it just me or am I growing by the day?
So that is the belly. Yes the real thing. The confused guy in the background is my brother in law to be, he is trying to figure out how to get out of babysitting. He is not quite sure about the whole conception process and birth thing. I think he believes in the stork drop off system. But he will probably never have to go through it with Brenna because they will have a dog collection before ever thinking of kids.
Anyway that was taken at 25 weeks. I am now 26 weeks and I only have 14 weeks left. Holy smokes!!
I went to see the doctor this week and aside from the fact that I am gaining weight faster than he would like, everything is fine. The heart is still pumping away and I even got my belly measured for the first time. On Tuesday, at 25 weeks and 4 days my belly was measuring 26 weeks. According to Dr. W "it couldn't be anymore perfect than that!" Yay!
I have another appointment on May 19th so if you don't hear from me before that I will update you then. I am hoping to be back with some baby room updates and possibly some photos of the completion before the end of May.
Ok put your left hand in a "thumbs up" sign and put it near your screen. Do you see the baby's? This is what it did while we were having the ultrasound done. The sonographer was cracking up and she did a still shot so we could have it. Here it is I have to share it all with all of you. I wish you could all see the flexing part on the video but don't feel bad we have to go to other peoples houses to see it because we don't have a VCR. I need to get it made into a DVD along with our wedding video. That is all for now. I hope you aren't disappointed since you waited so long for an update.
Oh, did I mention the furniture is in. Soon we will have a room ready to put it in. That will be an update with lots of pictures I'm sure. Be back in a few weeks. I have an appointment on the 21st so you will hear from me then or before.
So there it is. It looks like a baby to me. Anyway, it was 14oz last time we went and is now 1lb 5oz. I think I could be in trouble.
Mike says this picture looks like me. That is why I chose this one for the site. I still think it's a boy but who knows.
The video of the ultrasound is great. The last one had no sound and this one the sonographer talked through it to tell you what the heck you are looking at and she even played the heartbeat on it. It is all so exciting. I still get the chills everytime I hear it. This time it was 143 beats per minute which is the exact same amount of beats as the very first heartbeat we heard. I think that is pretty cool. On the video the baby also puts it arm up and flexes, it is so funny because it looks likes it has been to the gym. I can't wait to you guys that will have the chance to see it.
So I guess I am growing, holy smokes! Ya know, everyone said I would eventually "pop out" well looks like I did huh. I'm still enjoying every minute of this. I am very excited to finally be showing so people stop saying "you don't even look pregnant!" That's annoying. Anyway enough about me onto the baby.
