For those of you who check in periodically I wanted to post a newer picture. This was taken on Monday so by Friday I will only have 9 weeks left. I think I started growing overnight this week. For some reason when I look in the mirror my face doesn't look nearly as big as it does in these pictures. Well anyway nothing is new with me other than the lack of sleep. I'm not too sure how people with big bellies sleep at night because I'll tell ya it is quite a project.
I got the call today that our carpet is in so as soon as it is installed I will be sure to add some pictures. I can't wait to see it all done. Yay!!!
31 weeks tomorrow!
So I went to the doctor today and everything looks great. I'm measuring perfectly and luckily someone stole the Doppler that the doctor uses to hear the heartbeat so he had a new one that gives a count. Today it was 138 beats per minute. How exciting I can get a count again. YAY!!! So maybe someone will steal all of them and all the exam rooms will have the new kind. I don't think Dr. W. would be too excited about that since he told me today they cost $1,200.00 each. Whoa!
Anyway, again he said I need to be careful with the weight gain. I don't know what's going on it seems to be coming on while I sleep or something. Who knows. He said not to "super size it" anymore, then he laughs. I'm glad my doctor can entertain himself.
After today I only have one more monthly appointment then they start getting closer together. I told Dr. W. that works in my favor since my weight gain won't seem to be so much at once. Now it will only look like I gain 3.5lbs in two weeks instead of 7 in a month.
The carpet should be in this week then the furniture can come up from the basement. I will have some updated pictures when it is all done. Be back then.
So here is my friend Kristie, she is due about 2 weeks before me. I mentioned her a few weeks ago and here she is. Soon we will have a picture of our babies on here. In this picture I was 28 weeks which would make her about 30 weeks. I think she is having a girl and I am having a boy, we don't know but it's fun to guess.
Nobody told me I would develop a beer gut. This was taken on the night I turned 27 weeks. Holy moses this baby is growing or I've been really getting into the heavy ales. I can tell the baby is getting longer, it's really weird the longer they get the higher up they can kick. I was telling my friend Kristie who is due two weeks before me that my baby holds an aerobics class twice a day usually at 5 am and 9pm. She seems to think her baby is into some type of tribal dancing. I can't wait to see what we have, I am totally convinced that we are having opposite sexes not much longer before we find out.
Well, anyway if any of you find my bare belly disturbing please let me know, I can't guarantee that it will make a difference though. I just love it and so does Mike, every time we take a picture together he's like "show your belly hon" so here it is!
Okay so here it is. I only added one picture because the other two walls are the same as the white one you see here. There is only one red wall and that is it. We wanted red but didn't want to over stimulate the poor kid or make the walls close the room in with too much of a dark color. So here it is, I can't wait to add furniture, carpet and even a baby. Woo hoo!! 12 weeks left from Friday. I can't believe it. I know I keep saying I can't believe it but I really can't.
Our godson, Mikey tried to help Mike paint and when Mike went into the kitchen to rinse the paint tray Mikey assumed he needed the roller too so he dragged it out of the room and painted the whole length of the hallway for us. I would have added a picture of that but I had to clean it before it dried. What a helper. Hey at least he knows the roller goes with the tray right?
