Ugh!! I guess you all know I am still with child. I have plenty of time to take a 40 week picture and a 41 weeks and at this rate probably 42 weeks too. I'll try to make this one interesting since I'm huge now!!
I have to go next Friday for an ultrasound to make sure the placenta is functioning properly and the amniotic fluid is the right amount and all of that fun stuff but hopefully I won't make that appointment. I'm holding my breath for tomorrow night's full moon. I'll be back with a new picture before the weekend is up.
Oh by the way I can't believe I even have an entry by this name.
I am ashamed to admit I have officially had it with being pregnant. I will keep smiling and trying to sleep but lets get the show on the road!!! I am extremely tired and ready to deliver at home (no I'm not really delivering at home). I guess I'm not totally annoyed yet since the thought of castor oil is not yet appetizing. Anyway I just wanted to let you all know I am still pregnant and my delight is disappearing. Can't wait to meet this kid!
Oh and please note I WILL NOT GO TO THE HOSPITAL WITHOUT TELLING SOMEONE!!! Immediate family will be notified. I promise not to pull a disappearing act.
Well everyone I really hope I am not posting a 40 week picture next week. I would really like to have the baby on Tuesday when my Dr. is on call. I guess that is all for this week. Boring huh? We need some excitement around here.
Oh one thing that I thought was a little bit funny was when I was at the mall today with my mother the girl that worked at Gymboree asked if I was going to find out the sex. I said "Umm well I'm due on Friday." She was like "Ohh so I guess you'll be finding out pretty soon then huh?" So for those of you who haven't seen me in real life I'm not as big as I look in the pictures I swear!!!

Kristie, my pregnant friend who was on the site in May isn't pregnant anymore. She had a baby girl yesterday, her name is Annabella Nicole and she weighed 6lb 15oz and 20 inches long. I haven't seen her yet but I hear she is very cute. Kristie was going to be induced today at 7:30 am but she went into the hospital on Sunday morning and had her little girl at 3:39 pm. When I get a chance to see her I will post her picture on the site. Until then we will all wait patiently for the lima bean's grand entrance!
This is my 38 week picture taken as a special request by my mother. The reason I am wearing a 45 pound shawl in the middle of July is because this was hers when she was pregnant with us. As I think about it she probably wore it more while she was pregnant with me since Shannon was born in August and Brenna in September. Hmmm?
Anyway Brenna and I (with a little help from Mike) did a photo shoot at the beach this weekend and as soon as I get those pictures I will post some.
I went to see Dr. W today and again nothing is changing. Isn't that exciting news? NO! But I guess since I do have a week and a half left I should be patient. I'm not in a huge hurry but progress at this point would be nice. The baby's heart is still thumping loud and clear at a whopping 144 beats per minute. I am totally convinced this is a boy. I will most likely need the oxygen mask if I hear the word girl come from the Dr.'s mouth in the delivery room. Well until next week unless something happens. I'll keep you all posted. Oh by the way my appointment is late next week because my Dr. is on call on Tuesday so I will be going to see him Friday instead. It would really be nice if I delivered on Tuesday so that I could have my own Dr. So start praying!!! Thanks!
So here we are 17 days from my due date and I am making no progress. I was just at the doc and he says there is nothing new or exciting to report. The baby's head is in position but not yet in the birth canal. The heart is beating at 134 beats per minute, the lowest yet. My belly is measuring 1cm small. It should match up with how pregnant I am and it so it should be 37.5cm and it was 36.5cm, maybe I will have a little baby with a little head.. Yeah Go Little Baby!!!! Go Little Head!!! Woo Hoo!

So I totally bypassed week 36 and as you can see I have also had a major growth spurt. I was actually cracking up when I looked at this picture I have one of those beer drinker bodies with the big gut and the little legs although my legs aren't really that little, it's an optical illusion. Anyway, I will be going for a check up on Tuesday and I will be sure to post that day, I promise. I know we are getting to the wire here and I need to keep you all up to the minute. With the messages I have been getting on my answering machine while I'm not home I am about ready to publish my cell phone number so everyone can find me at all times. I can assure you all that thelimabean.com will be up to the minute when the time comes. Bren doesn't know that she will be in charge of that yet but you will all be informed of the happenings. Have no fear nobody will be left out.

Sorry this took so long since I am well on my way to 37 weeks at this point. I also have to add a picture of me now. I know I'm a major slacker! My web rights are going to be revoked if I don't get my butt in gear.
This picture is of me at Brenna's shower with my Grandmother (paternal) and my Aunt Donna. Aunt Donna couldn't get enough of the belly but Gammy on the other hand didn't even want to look at it so once I found out I tortured her because I'm the bad kid.
Anyway I am only working part time now becuase I couldn't stand the pain from my tailbone and lower back anymore I toughed it out as long as I could. It's not too bad, I get home early and have a lot of time to rest. As of my last appointment nothing is changing and that is what the doc expected at that point. The baby's heart beat was between 148 and 150. Maybe it was the coffee. I go back again next week, the 13th to be exact. Maybe I will have an exciting update at that time. I promise to come back soon and give you a picture from this week. Yes, I could change that much in a week.
