This is how we get a Christmas tree, first we walk through a huge field better known as a tree farm then we pick a tree, we cut it down, pay for it of course and take it home. On the way home we say a little prayer that it will fit in our tree stand and when we get there we trim the bottom and attempt to drop it in. We have only run into serious problems a few times. We actually got a new stand this year because of last year's disaster. Here's what happened; one fine December morning Mike goes into the basement to get the wrapping paper bin and finds some sticky stuff on the lid so he brings it upstairs and ask me of course, what I spilled on it. I took a good look and said hmmm I don't remember spilling anything on it and while I was in mid sentence Mike says "Oh s#&$ the tree!" So I'm looking at him very confused thinking what the heck does the tree have to do with the wrapping paper bin... then he goes on and on and runs back down the stairs. When he returns he says "We gotta get that tree outta here!!" I'm still wondering what is going on and trying to make a connection. Well it all came together when Mike moved the tree to find that the stand was cracked (not because our tree was too big or anything, most people get 12' Christmas trees) and the sappy sugar water(we put sugar in the water, warm water that is. A little trick from a local greenhouse owner we know) was leaking through our hardwood floors into the basement onto the wrapping paper bin. Needless to say the tree and the stand were in the kitchen in the blink of an eye. I hope you don't think that was easy to move with all the decorations on it.
Unfortunately we couldn't take Sonny's pick because there weren't enough branches for ornaments so we picked a slightly larger one, by slightly larger I mean about 10 feet tall. I'll add more pictures once we decorate it. Be sure to check back and see Sonny's first Christmas tree!

Here is Sonny in some different poses: the striped outfit is his Thanksgiving gear. Then you will find Sonny sleeping with Aunt Bren and Uncle Pat, on different occasions. There is a picture with all three of Sonny's Grandfathers, he is very lucky to have so many. There is also a picture with his Aunt Shannon. Then the one on the roller with his Pepere is Sonny putting the finishing touches on the basketball court. He won't be shooting hoops any time soon but he'll have a great time riding his toys on there. We hope you all had a great turkey day.

Just a quick note, I will post all pictures from this week in this section so if you get a notification that has the same title it will be more photos.
Also, I just wanted to let everyone know since Sonny has added cereal to his diet 2 weeks ago he's gained 2 pounds. Amazing, just when you thought more was on his bib than in his stomach...
Check out Inner Bling to see Sonny in his first modeling job! Scroll down to the infant tees until you see Sonny. Above his head to the left it says "about our models" there you can read Sonny's bio. Have fun and find out what Inner Bling is all about. It's not just a t-shirt!

Here's Sonny modeling the porcupine collection.
Well, I guess on Friday we start saying how old Sonny is in months instead of weeks huh? That means he is getting really old.
If any of you missed my message on the last notifacation it said go to "main" on top of the page when I send you a notification. That way instead of me sending a bunch of notifications if I post more than once in a single day, clicking on that will bring you to the main page where all of the new stuff is.
Here are some pictures from the beginning of Sonny's 12th week. The blue outfit lasted all of about 10 minutes, he pooped and it was over. The crib photo is Sonny pretending he wasn't crying. Sonny asked me to take the other picture to show off his new belt. Aunt Bren wants to know if he can take it off by himself when he has to pee. Oh, and we sure have been missing the comments.

These are the photos Aunt Brenna took on Halloween after our beach photo shoot. Sonny had a very busy day, good thing he ate all of his candy for energy.

These pictures are of Sonny with the trick or treaters that we know, not random kids that rang the bell. If you are having a hard time figuring out what the second to last picture is, they are dressed as Memere and Pepere :-)
