Christmas Week

Sorry about the mess of pictures but I'm a little behind. These are random shots taken during the week of Christmas, some are from New York, others are from home Christmas Eve and Christmas. The people that nobody can recognize are some strangers at the next table who were waiting for their fourth grandchild and couldn't resist our little boy. My Grandmother not realizing that the long table of 16 were all together whispers to some people in our party "Steph better watch that baby, those people are sitting by an exit." The girl behind her turned around and politely informed her "That's my mom, she won't steal him." I thought you guys would appreciate that. You will see Sonny bathing in the sink at my Aunt Donna's house, it was there that he learned "splashy, splash" so now he has a big boy bath seat. I think all of the other pictures are pretty self explanatory. Enjoy and Happy New Year!!!!

Adventures in Babysitting

I've hijacked the website to post a few photos from my and Uncle Steve's big night of babysitting! We all had a great time, even Henry enjoyed having Sonny around (though I think he was just after the monkey). Steph even said I managed to get Sonny to drink quite a lot of his bottle, which made my struggle with the bottle warming technique all worth while. Who knew you could put plastic into boiling water? As Grandpaw always told us "You just have to be smarter than the bottle".

Last I checked babies don't sit up at 4 months old. Good thing I birthed He-Man. Well I'm sure some kids sit up like this but I mean really was Sonny a few moths old at birth? I think so.

Here are a few pictures of my early birthday party. I know I don't look a day older than 27 but I am. I thought I would show you all my cake because it is so cool! The others are old pics that never made it to the site for some reason but they were too cute to ignore.

For anybody trying to leave comments I don't think you can anymore. Unfortunately we got so much spam (junk mail) on the website that our webmaster, Brenna worked all day trying to figure out how to stop that and she didn't think she could but it seems to have worked. I have sent my home email address for those of you who don't have it so feel free to send any comments there. We are trying to figure out how to make it so that regular users can enter a password and when we do I will let you all know. Sorry for any inconvenience. I spent 2 hourse deleting crazy comments with links to every gambling site on the web the other night, that was fun! Almost 4 Months

Well, we broke all the rules and gave Sonny some peas the other night. The doctor wanted us to wait until he was six months but he was still hungry after dinner and I didn't want to just load him up with cereal. He seems to be doing fine and he didn't really show any like or dislike. I don't think we will have any problems with food for this guy besides the blowing bubbles during meals. Sonny is showing off his bathrobe and slippers after a shower with Daddy. Mike said he looks like a little girl in it but actually when he stands up his robe is so short that we are sure he is a boy. Also there are some shots of Sonny with some early Christmas gifts from two of his Great Grandmothers, the stocking that is so big he fits in it and the pillow just the right size for his little head. Oh, and yes he is using his high chair now. He is too big for me!!!
