Bikini Babe

Well as you can see Sonny thinks bikini bottoms are hats, as long as he figures it out before high school we'll be okay. Everyone is doing well. I don't know if I told you last week but I weighed Michaela at home and she was up to 10.5 pounds. She finally fits into her clothes and she got some hats today. That was the most exciting, a hat that fits. Yay! Sonny had a big day at work today and was very sad to leave. Nothin' like a 1 year old with a great work ethic. On with the pictures.

Happy Easter

Well, she's 4 weeks old now holy cow. We had a doctor's appointment on Friday and Michaela was 9 lb 11 oz and 22 inches long, there is no doubt that she's growing. She has a herniated belly button but no cause for concern and a small cyst on her gum that should take care of itself. Aside from that she is doing great and is very healthy. Sonny boy is also doing fine though he didn't have that much fun at the appointment but he got over it about 7 stickers later. Bribery never hurt right? Here are some pictures from the past week. The other kids in the pics are Annabella and Gabriel (Sonny's cousin).

Dolls are for boys too

So I guess it doesn't count as playing with dolls as long as she looks like a boy right??? Here are pictures from today, no I will not be this efficient all the time but fortunately the kids are sleeping right now as I should be but instead I took this precious time to keep you all updated, I hope you appreciate it! Have a great day and enjoy the weather.

Can someone do my laundry?

Here are some photos of what we have been doing lately. Michaela is 3 weeks old already if you can believe that. I think I have been in a haze for the past three weeks to be honest. She eats every three hours on the hour and does not miss a meal. This is probably why she is over 9 pounds already. We had a visiting nurse come over for the past 3 Fridays and she went from 7lb 7 oz when she left the hospital on Wednesday March 22 to 8.2 on Friday March 24 then 8.7 the following week then a whopping 9.2 the next week. She has her first appointment to see the doctor this week so I'll keep you posted. The nurse measured her this past week and thinks she was about 21.5 inches. We're not sure though, I'll know more on Friday.
Sonny is doing well but still carrying the cough from the virus he had. He loves his sister a.k.a. ditda or lala or babeh and has to know where she is at all times. He has adjusted better than expected for a 19 month old, he will be 20 months tomorrow.

Week 2

Here are some new pictures. No, we haven't forgotten about Sonny-Boy but he's been really sick and spending most of his days in bed. We're hoping he's on the tail end of this nasty virus. Michaela is doing well, as of last Friday she has gained one pound since leaving the hospital, she is now 8.7. Good job little girl!!! We went to see the Easter Bunny and as you can see that didn't go over too well.
