Michaela had her two month check-up today. She is doing well weighing in at 11 lb. 7 oz. and measuring 23.25 inches. She is above average for her height and weight and has an average size head. Sonny was a big boy at her appointment, he even left the room with the doctor (who he wouldn't make eye contact with last time) so that Michaela could get her shots. Yay for the kids! Michaela has begun sleeping through the night, thank God! In these pictures you will see Sonny doing a few of his favorite things 1. Being as close to his DaDa as possible 2. Playing his guitar like Dzzz a.k.a. Uncle Steve, or DaDa or Jack Johnson, depends on his mood 3. Digging through Aunt Katie's drawers 4. Playing outside and 5. Playing with MaMa on the bed. I know half of you don't even read this but whatever as long as I get nice emails about my work here I'll keep it coming. Now on with the pictures. Enjoy!

Sorry the holiday pictures seem to happen this way, I always have a million pictures at once. Oh well, enjoy. I hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day. I did, Mike and the kids got me a new camera. I don't know why it's not like I take any pictures. Joke!! I love it and now I can take even more pictures before I have to put them on the computer. Yay!!! As far as changes go Sonny is talking a little better and possibly getting a molar. Michaela is sleeping more thank God and pooping less. Other than that not much else is new here. We have a 2 month check up for Michaela on Tuesday then she can get her ears pierced, yay!!!

Weekend Photos

Here are some pictures from our weekend. We went to a baby shower on Saturday then took a trip to see Aunt Brenna. If you look below for Sonny's diaper wedgie that is Aunt Bren, she's getting better though, she said the first try it was backwards so this is a step in the right direction. Sonny had a playmate to keep him busy, he slept great! Brenna somehow takes pictures of Michaela that make her look like me. I don't know how it happens...maybe some fancy software. Well, I hope you all had a fun weekend too. Enjoy the photos!

* Editor's note: Aunt Bren had to get away from the Diaper of Horror ASAP. It was like 'Nam in there. Thus the poor re-diapering job.

Yes, those are horns coming through Sonny's hair in the picture of him trying to "give his sister air" or at least that what he's pretending to do, luckily the fan is foam and didn't hurt her head when it touched her head. So yes when I say he's adjusting well I mean aside from a few small things. You will also see here Michaela modeling her brother's old outfit. If you go to the archives you will see him wearing this at 2 weeks old (August 2004). There's quite a difference between a boy and a girl. Enjoy!

Sonny is lacking camera time in this set because when these were taken he was working hard in the yard with Daddy and Pepere. As you can see we are experiencing a little hair loss and some baby acne. Nothing to be alarmed by every baby gets it. Here is our little 11.5 pound wonder girl. Yes, she's gained another pound.
