Yay, she finally has a tooth. Good thing since the drool is meeting her waistline. Bottom right tooth has arrived and I don't think the left is far behind. Thank God!! Oh, did I mention that Ms. Michaela has been sleeping a full twelve hours? Knock on wood. Boy, she really took the six month thing seriously or she heard me say I was putting her in the driveway when she was screaming at 3 a.m. last week.
Sonny is doing good too he called everyone to announce the arrival of his sisters tooth. He's still working hard on the patio. I bet he'll be glad when that's done. I hope he doesn't grow out of his work boots first. Here are some unrelated pictures. The last two were after a "baby lellow bubba bah" or a bath with the baby using the yellow bubbles. I know what he means. Enjoy!

The kids got to go to their first professional baseball game thanks to Aunt Bren and Uncle Steve for Sonny's birthday present (and Mitch's parents who let us use their seats). Anyway, they had a great time. Sonny enjoyed the big screen more than anything else and once he discovered that the loud speaker wasn't a huge man that was going to eat his whole family he really loosened up.
Michaela is now 6 months old if you can believe that, she started to sit up on her own in the past week. She still falls over a lot but she's getting there. She rolls over from her back to her belly now, sometimes with a little trouble getting that arm out of the way. She screams just like her big brother and drools A LOT! It's amazing how a camera can make her smile mid cry. We're still waiting for some teeth to show up. In the meantime she had her first biter biscuit last week and I had my first nervous breakdown. I need a Xanax before she eats, Charlie-Chokes-A-Lot, Jr. Geez.
Sonny is becoming a pet parrot, he repeats everything so we have to be very careful. His belly button is his new found friend so his shirt is always up and he holds onto it. Better than his penis I suppose. We're still working on the potty training thing. Yesterday he took off his pj's and diaper when he woke up and pooped on his bedroom floor. That was awesome! He is still sleeping behind his bedroom door on occasion but stays in his bed for the most part and has mastered pulling the "child-proof" door knob covers off I think when they say "child-proof" it should say except for Sonny same goes for one size fits most....except Sonny. He has been working very hard with Da-Da to get that patio done and they are doing a great job.

There was a photo contest at the mall for the month of August, so naturally I entered both kids.
I got the call on Tuesday night that Sonny won for his age category. YAY!! The manager said she thought for sure they would both win but only Sonny got it. Here are their entry pictures.
