Here are some photos from Michaela's unhappy birthday. She didn't have that much fun because she has an infection in her intestines called C-Diff. She is on meds now and will hopefully be cured. She has one more week on the medicine every 6 hours (including middle of the night). It hasn't been that fun for any of us but we hope she is better soon. Her party was fun, she spent most of it in bed but we made the best of it. Aunt Brenna brought her new puppy over on Michaela's real birthday and they stayed for some cake. Enjoy the photos.
No, I'm not kidding! We are very excited; a little bit nervous since Mike is expanding his business this year, but we'll make it. Well, I'm ashamed to see that it has been over a month since I have been on here, but let me start by telling you that during that time, I think the kids were healthy for a total of 5 days at a stretch. Luckily, right now Sonny is doing okay. As for his sister, "Betty Barf Bags", she has some stomach bug with a fever. They've both had this already and passed it to Mike. When that was all over, Sonny got tonsillitis, possibly mono, but they didn't do blood tests because they treat both with the same meds anyway. did i say meds? oh make that "bottle of poison that he gagged at the site of". Needless to say, 10 days of 2 doses/day was awesome! The good news is that through it all he came out potty trained. Yay!!!
Michaela has 6 teeth still and really trying to get those top two incisors (thanks, aunt shannon) out, but they seem to be taking forever. She knows a bunch of words and even sings a song from one of the many children's - shoot me while I'm driving - CDs. She says MaMa, DaDa, Bubba (brother), Gus (Katie's dog), Dog, Memere, Pepere, Love you, thank you, and all gone. I think that's all. I have to end this now because she is currently screaming in her bed.
