Six days to go, or twenty. I had an appointment today and I am dilated 2 cm. Yippee! I told the doctor that at this rate I should deliver by Christmas. Baby is ready to go, moving further towards the exit. THANK GOD!!! Oh sorry did I sound anxious or something. As uncomfortable as I am I really can't wait to meet and see this baby. Most of all I can't wait to know what it is.
Michaela also went to the doctor today. She has conjunctivitis just like the rest of us. I forgot to mention my sinus infection, conjuntivitis, sore throat and hacking cough oh and my can I please have this baby? Luckily her ears are clear. She walked around Bren's saying eye drops, I think she was ready for another dose.
Tonight we surprised Aunt Bren and Uncle Steve. For some very very strange reason they have Halloween the night before in their new neighborhood. I know it's weird but it really worked out great for the kids. We went there got all kinds of candy and came home. Tomorrow they can get more candy then they should sleep for about a week when their sugar high wears off. They had a lot of fun with the exception of the scary masked kid laying under the minivan growling at one of the houses. I guess making a 3 year old cry was his goal. I wanted to kick him the rest of the way under the car. Is that mean? Here are some pics from tonight.
Just a quick update, went to the doc. I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. All that doesn't mean much but that is more progress than I made the other two times. I still have 12 days, not that I'm counting. Keep your fingers crossed but not too tight, I don't want to miss Sonny and Rosey's Halloween. Here are some pics, me at 38 weeks, Spidey in his "dress up clothes" because he will be a baseball player for Halloween, and Rosey at gymnastics. Sonny wasn't really in the photo mood last week with an ear infection, a smoker's cough, double conjunctivitis and a snotty nose. He's doing much better now! He's been wearing his suit for 4 consecutive days now with only breaks for school. It should walk to his laundry pretty soon. Ms. Rosey also peed on the potty for the first time today. I'm introducing slowly since in a few weeks that is probably the last thing I am worried about.
Well, I went to the doctor today to get "baby hippo" checked out and all is well. No changes unfortunately and according to my track record I will be most likely passing my due date AGAIN!!! Oh sorry. Was I yelling? Anyway, here are some current pictures of the family. For anyone who doesn't know yet. Get a chair.....Bren is having a baby! Yeah, you heard me right. Just when I was getting used to the idea of my kids never having cousins. I'm so excited I can't even put it in words. The best part is they will only be 5 months apart unless I have my baby like 4 months late or something.
Well, Ms. Rosey went to the doctor and she is doing great. She is 33.75 inches tall (90th), 26.2 pounds (75th) and her head is 18.75 inches (80th). The doctor was pleased with her. She is also quite the gymnast. She has been going to a toddler gymnastics class for about 3 weeks now and she is doing awesome. She surprises me every time. Today when we pulled into the parking lot she said "nastics, shoes off, socks off".
Sonny boy is doing great at school and he went on his first field trip yesterday. I felt a little bit left out but he's got to grow up sometime right? Don't think I didn't want to hide out in the apple trees taking pictures.
Oh and by the way I only have 4.5 weeks to go. If that's not scary I don't know what is! All is well in that department.
