School's out for summer!
So another school year has come to an end.he funny think is that everyone asked if I would still be doing this when Sonny when to kindergarten, he's starting 2nd grade in the fall. For those of you who lived through the heart attack I will tell you all about this year.
Starting with the oldest of course....Sonny finished out 1st grade with a perfect report card and a presidential academic award. He's pretty cool. He also "stayed on green" all through the month of June which means he didn't get in trouble once (at school). As most of you know he picked up a new sport this winter, hockey. He absolutely loves it. Which awesome because it's pretty cheap. =D He just celebrated his 6 months on ice skated anniversary on June 19th and he's doing great. He has new tricks by the day. For his excellent performance at school he was rewarded with some new roller blades and a new goal net (with a top shelf of course).
Michaela finally graduated preschool for the 4th and last time and is very excited to start "real school" in the fall. We can't wait for her to board the bus. Really, she's very excited to get there. She's extremely bored at this point and is beyond ready to start school. At this point she plans on continuing gymnastics and wants to everything that Sonny does including wearing boy clothes.
Lilly, well, let me think of some things to tell you about her. Hmmm, she had a "moving up" ceremony which doesn't really count because she's not really moving up. She will continue 2 days of preschool/gymnastics for another year. Lucy for them they'll have her for 2 more years. Hahahaha. She's a bit of a terror right now. She's into everything and her favorite word is "NO". She has a mouth on her like a 10 year old and she's not afraid to use it. A few weeks ago I told her to buckle up or I was taking her to the police department and she refused so her very nervous older brother asked "why aren't you buckling?" she responded "I want to see the police department!" Really! I couldn't even make her freshness up if I tried. She makes us all nuts, grandparents included. She's a handful and will never be denied anything. This will serve her well as an adult but as of right now she'll be lucky to get there.
